The 2012 EPT Copenhagen is set to begin on February 19th and run through to the 25th in Denmark’s capital city.

This year the Casino will play host to a total of 21 events, with the attraction on the DKK 35,000 Main Event that begins on the 20th and, as always, is certain to attract hundreds of pros from all over the Nordic region and beyond.

Last year’s EPT Copenhagen Main Event saw 449 entrants post the buy-in, which translated to roughly $6,400. The total prize pool of $2,769,554 was divided up amongst 64 players that made the money, with the top prize of $679,244 going to eventual champion, Michael Tureniec. This was the second year running that a Swedish player won.

In addition to their title and cash prize, the winner of all EPT Season 8 Main Events will receive a stunning bracelet from Shamballa Jewels. Each bracelet is worth more than €10,000 and designed with black engraved ceramic balls, three 18k rhodanized white gold balls and one 10mm diamond pavé made on an 18k rose gold ball.
